TAMUK Faculty Will Give All-State Clinics, September 4, 2010

Texas A&M University Kingsville Faculty and All State Etude Clinic hosted at PSJA Memorial HS

All students preparing for the 2010 All State Band Audition are invited to attend this special clinic on September 4th, 2010 to help prepare them for a successful audition experience. Faculty from Texas A&M University Kingsville will offer instrument specific clinics that will guide students through each etude and offer practice tips, pedagogical advice, audition strategies as well as give each student the opportunity to perform and receive specific commentary.

UTPA All-State Clinic, September 18, 2010

The University of Texas-Pan American will host an All-State Etude Clinic on Saturday, September 18 for the following instruments:

Clarinet
Saxophone
Bassoon
Trumpet
Trombone
Bass Trombone
Euphonium
Tuba

What Every Musician/Music Educator Needs to Know about the Body, UTB/TSC, November 6, 2010

“What Every Musician/Music Educator Needs to Know about the Body”, a full day workshop and master class with guest clinician Dr. Kimberly Clark, will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 10:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. in the UTB/TSC Arts Center, Red Room, on the UTB/TSC campus in Brownsville. Region 15 is a Texas Music Educators Association and University Interscholastic League region of South Texas. This includes the following school districts, from West to East: Roma, Rio Grande City, La Joya, Mission, Sharyland, McAllen, Hidalgo, Edinburg, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, Valley View and South Texas ISD.
