UTB Woodwind Chamber Music Camp, June 25-29, 2012
The Woodwind Faculty at the University of Texas at Brownsville is pleased to announce the 2012 UTB Woodwind Chamber Music Camp. Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon and Horn students in grades 9-12 are invited to participate in this unique, educational event.

Unified Percussion Ensemble to perform at TBA
U. P. is a 12 member ensemble of percussion directors from the Region 15 area. Aside from their love and joy of playing, their mission is to provide a “live model” of the musical and technical aspects of percussion literature. They are very excited to be given the opportunity to promote and represent percussion education from this region. UTPA Tuba/Euphonium Ensemble To Perform at ITEC in Austria
The UTPA Tuba Euphonium Ensemble has been invited to perform at the next International Tuba Euphonium Conference in Linz, Austria from June 25-30, 2012. The ensemble is one of seven university tuba/euphonium ensemble from the United States invited to perform. All of the students in the ensemble are former members of Valley high school band programs. This is a great honor and will be a great experience for these music students from the Rio Grande Valley. For more information, please see the attached flier.

About TMEA Region 15 Band
Region 15 is a Texas Music Educators Association and University Interscholastic League region of South Texas. This includes the following school districts, from West to East: Roma, Rio Grande City, La Joya, Mission, Sharyland, McAllen, Hidalgo, Edinburg, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, Valley View and South Texas ISD.
